The Mekaster HSC hoist is designed to meet the highest international standards in vertical transportation of men and materials in the safest way possible.The hoist is built on a modular system with sigle or dual cage configurations and it is very easy to convert a single cage hoist into dual hoist cage as left and right cages are indentical.

The Steel cage is designed to withstand all forces from the S.W.L, the wind effects and the dynamics from the vertical movement. The long sidewalls are covered by aluminum and wire mesh, the floor and roof are covered by skid resistant aluminum chequered plates. Entry and exit gates are electrically and mechanically inter locked during operation of the hoist.

Cage roof is provided with an escape hatch electrically interlocked with the control system. Tubular steel hand rail shall enclose the cage roof for maintenance operation.

The cage is guided on the mast by individually adjusted ball bearing guide rollers.Safety hooks are attached to the main frame to ensure positive engagement of the Rack & Pinin to prevent cage disengagement in case of roller failure.

A four sided wire mesh ground enclosure with mechanical and electrical interlocked gates is standard factory supplied.It is only possible to open the doors when the hoist cage is in bottom position.However, to meet site requirement, Special ground enclosures can also be designed and supplied.The Standard ground enclosure for a single cage hoist can easily be transformed to a dual cage hoist enclosure, by adding wire mesh panels.
